What is Cell Culture?

What is Cell Culture?

Written by Dr. Anubhav

Cell culture is a process of growing cells in a lab by using a variety of media.

Cell culture is important for several reasons. it allows scientists to study the effects of various chemicals and viruses on cells in vitro.

There are a few limitations to cell culture that should be taken into account when planning to use it for research purposes.

First, cells must be grown in a specific medium that is compatible with the cell type being cultured. This can be difficult to find and often requires special ingredients or equipment.

Second, cells may not grow in all environments and may not reach their final destination if they are kept in an environment other than the one they were designed for.
